To Rim High Band Parents, Students or Visitors,

Welcome to the Rim High Band Web Site!

As we begin the 2010-2011 school year, we have much to anticipate. Please check out the calendar in the Band Activities tab on the left. Please print out the 2010-2011 pdf file and save for your reference and refridgerator!

Band camp is a very important and VITAL activitiy for ALL band students. Please plan to atend so we can better prepare for the games and parades in September through December. More information about camp can be found on the activities tab on the left.

Freshman parents are encourage to become involved IMMEDIATELY in the Rim Instrumental Music Parent Association (RIMPA), formaly known as the Rim Band Boosters. This organization supports the bands in all activities throughout the year.

Speaking of the Rim Band Boosters, RIMPA is now the "front" name for our parent organization. This name was actually coined back in 2000 when there was an effort to bring the elementary and middle school parents into the band program. With the addition of the string program to our curriculum, we want to bring all parents of instrumental music students into the support program. As the string program continues to grow, it will become increasingly necessary to involve parents of these students to support travel and fundraising. RIMPA seems to be the right name for all instrumental music parents here at RIM, as well as ALL instrumental music students in the district.

Again, I wish to welcome all new freshman and their parents to our exciting band and orchestra program here at RIM.
